This handmade paper white Dove is life size and created by hand so each one is unique and a one off piece of art.

The body is created from a wire armature skeleton, on to which all of the features like the beak, eyes, legs and feet are sculpted using air drying clay. Then every feather is individually cut out of paper with Zack’s trusty scissors and glued in place, one by one. This layering then gives you the look of a real bird and Zack can get all the details just right for you.

Once all of the feathers are layered from the tail all the way up to the beak the last stage is to paint the piece, adding all those last life like details that will bring your bird to life.

The piece shown stands alone, but there is the option to display in a bell jar, or if you would like to display it in another way then please just email and ask, everything is possible.
